Sadis & Goldberg won major victory in Class Action Arbitration Case
Sam Lieberman, Co-Head of our Litigation Practice, was published, alongside Ben Hutman in Law360, regarding Chinese e-commerce giant Dang-Dang and facing class arbitration of claims. Sadis & Goldberg represented the counsel for plantiffs, and successfully argued that Dang-Dang's shareholders of misconduct. We are Lead Counsel for a Class of former E-Commerce China Dangdang, Inc. ("Dangdang") shareholders who were cashed out at an unfair price in a conflicted, controlling stockholder Going-Private merger. This ruling means that this Class Action will now proceed to a Class Certification hearing in December 2025, and full merits discovery. We are seeking over $100 million in damages on behalf of the Class.
