Sadis & Goldberg LLP Promotes Steven Huttler and Paul Fasciano to Partner, Francis Bigelow and Mitchell Taras to Of Counsel and Welcomes Christiaan Johnson-Green, Of Counsel to its New York Office Sadis & Goldberg LLP has elected Steven Huttler and Paul Fasciano, Financial Services Practice to Partner, Francis Bigelow, Litigation Practice and Mitchell Taras, Corporate and Real Estate Practice to Of Counsel and announces the addition of Christiaan Johnson-Green to its New York office as Of Counsel in the Litigation Practice. Mr. Huttler’s practice includes the representation of a wide variety of investment vehicles with an exceptionally broad spectrum of strategies, underwritings, private placements, structured finance, asset-backed finance, securities, sophisticated partnerships and LLCs, PIPEs, derivatives, tax-driven financial transactions and structures, and other types of finance transactions. Mr. Huttler regularly represents hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and managed accounts in the structuring and establishment of such entities, as well as in executing on their investment programs across a wide range of foreign jurisdictions (including many locations in Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Far East, and almost all of the offshore tax-haven jurisdictions, and including representations where he has closed on $11 billion in financings). He also advises clients on complex and detailed partnership structures, often driven by tax considerations. Mr. Huttler's practice, relating to various types of alternative assets, includes significant experience with life settlements, structured settlements, litigation financing, water rights, and related markets.

Mr. Fasciano’s practice in corporate law representations includes the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and hedge fund formation, securities, banking and finance, distressed debt trading and structured finance and derivatives. He regularly counsels clients on structuring and forming U.S. and non-U.S. private investment funds covering a wide variety of strategies and asset classes. Mr. Fasciano advises purchasers and sellers in a wide variety of public and private merger and acquisition tractions including hostile transactions and PIPE investments. Mr. Fasciano also represents NYSE and Nasdaq listed public companies with respect to securities laws and listed company compliance, including periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and also counsels clients on compliance with Section 13 and Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act.

Mr. Bigelow has a wide-range of experience in all phases of litigation, and has handled numerous class actions, trials and arbitrations in the areas of securities, general commercial and consumer protection litigation. In addition, Mr. Bigelow counsels financial services clients in connection with various agreements and also employment matters.

Mr. Taras represents clients in a variety of complex real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, construction, leasing, and joint venture negotiations. He also counsels proprietorships, franchisees, and various other closely held businesses in their day-to-day operations and has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing various business transactions.

Mr. Johnson-Green concentrates his practice in the areas of Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”) enforcement defense, securities litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Mr. Johnson-Green brings to Sadis & Goldberg nine years of experience in federal multi-agency investigations involving securities fraud, accounting fraud, public corruption and complex commercial litigation. As a member of the Sadis & Goldberg’s Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Johnson-Green focuses his practice on the financial services industries.
