James Ancone is a partner in the Securities Litigation department of Sadis & Goldberg LLP. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation before state and federal trial and appellate courts. James has significant experience representing domestic and foreign financial firms and directors and officers in shareholder disputes, securities fraud, common law fraud, and breach of contract actions, including actions relating to residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), collateral debt obligations (CDOs) and other complex financial products.
Prior to joining Sadis & Goldberg, James was counsel in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Mayer Brown, served as a law clerk to US District Judge Richard M. Berman in the Southern District of New York and US Magistrate Judge Henry B. Pitman in the Southern District of New York.
