Alyssa Whitaker is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group. Alyssa advises investment managers and private fund sponsors through every stage of a fund's life, from formation and organization through ongoing maintenance, secondary transactions, and changes of control.
Before joining Sadis & Goldberg, Alyssa was an associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP (now McDermott Will & Schulte), where she focused on structuring and drafting documents for fund launches, represented parties in transfers of fund interests, and analyzed the consent, notice, and assignment implications of ownership and personnel changes at the manager and fund level.
